Whenever on campus, you will need to follow NIU’s expectations which include wearing a mask, physical distancing, staying home if you have any symptoms and more.
As an institution, we are following local, state and federal guidelines for the health and well-being of our community. Whether living on or off-campus, taking virtual or in-person courses, every Huskie is expected to complete this training. Last week, all new and returning Huskies received the Protecting the Pack training. And next Monday, both virtually and in-person, we will begin the fall 2020 semester. Students new to NIU will participate in Week of Welcome (WOW) activities Wednesday through Sunday as we orient them to our Huskie family. In just one week, the fall semester begins! Many students will move into the residence halls or move into local apartments around DeKalb this week.
